GraphAI, a startup for artificial intelligence (AI) technology based on data integration, has been selected as a designated military service company (research institution) in the first half of 2024, enabling it to utilize the Specialized Research Personnel System. The Specialized Research Personnel System supports individuals with a master's degree or higher in science and engineering to serve as research personnel for three years in lieu of military service, in order to foster and advance national industries. Designated military service companies undergo rigorous evaluation by the Military Manpower Administration based on factors such as the scale of research personnel, the company's participation in research and development, and its investment in development. GraphAI will actively recruit exceptional research personnel through the this selection.
